Final Response

Final Response
Write a literature response to The Revealers showing how and when you used the reading strategies of reflecting, predicting, questioning, summarizing , and visualizing in your reading of the novel. Include page numbers for examples from the text. Refer to your Daybook if you need a review of the strategies.

Prediction-In the story I tried predicting after I was done reading each chapter.Even by reading the chapters name I tried predicting .It actually helped me as I could remember the parts that made my prediction right or wrong .The predictions were usually like "I think now they are going to figure out a solution, they are going to be in trouble or I do not think they are actually going to succeed doing it."

Questioning -The questions where usually flying around the head waiting for the time to get the answer. When I got the answers it was a relief .The the questions were like "Why did he do that? What does this sentence mean?"The one question I am always thinking is"Why did not Russell put up his story in the kidnet?"I am really eager to find the answer. If you can find a answer it makes the story interesting.

Summarizing-In the Revealers the main point was "the middle school students publishing their stories in the kidnet about their bully incidents." 'The good thing about summarizing is that you can always keep a track of the story.it even helped me as when I was stating them in my own words I felt the story was really easy .It gave me ideas what the story is talking about while I was reading.

Visualizing-The visualizing part is the most fun part.We can make the characters in our own way by using the descriptions from the book .I visualized"Catalina's long legs" and even the picture when "Elliot was dropped of the bridge"(page58).

Reflecting-Reflecting helps me remember all the main ideas of the book.It gives me an idea what the characters are like in the story. When I was reflecting I made sure if my reflection was right or wrong as I think that if I make the reflection once wrong than the whole concept of the book will be changed to me.
